Hi, all. Suddenly feel like posting something random, but significant. Today I heard from the teacher-in-charge saying that our Dance teacher, Liao laoshi is leaving. Her words left me stupefied. What?! SHE'S L-LEAVING?!
Though she has only taught me for 2 years, I can guarantee that she is a good teacher who is rare to find. Remember at the start of Secondary One, I was afraid of her. But gradually, she showed her everlasting care, never screaming at anyone. In fact, she encouraged us, grooming us step by step, making sure that we remember what was taught, so that we did not go for Dance sessions for nothing. Still can vividly picture the scene whereby a dancer jump and land with straight legs. Then she would say not to do that, as it hurts the knees. She always reminded us to bend our knees to prevent us from getting hurt. Although to date people are still making the same mistakes, she would not flare up, but make another, yet another reminder.
She treats us as her children, never abandoning anyone. She helped us to bond together, so that we could become strong as a group. She bought us tidbits to reward us. Though it was a small gesture, one can feel heartened that he or she was making improvement.
Also heard that the next teacher will be a 'professional instructor'. Despite this, he or she may not be still as good as Liao laoshi. Liao laoshi, we will all miss you.
