Home Economics Cooking Test

This is the last year we will be doing cooking tests in the school. Today's experience was better than last year, and we really had a whale of a time. Everything went smoothly, at least I think so. We were the first group to finish and there were times when I had nothing to do during the preparation. -.-

The teacher graded us and I got to know of our marks from one of my friends after school. If he wasn't wrong, we scored 7, 7.5, 7, 7. Haiz, average is an A2. Home Economics, should have gotten A1, it should help us bacause it is relatively easier to score. Never mind, we had enjoyed ourselves and also won some praises. : )

The other group of the class finished earlier than us, so they came over to savour our food. They gave very nice compliments, because they had bad experiences over there, their food do not taste as good, etc. Guys, don't be sad. If you did not do as well as you desired, it is because you had much expectations and limitations than us. Our theme is party, and the teacher gave us a 'free-style' form of preparing our food. We need not put emphasis on the nutritional value, who the food is for, the amount of ingredients used, and what type of food we should prepare. Hence, it is easier for us. At least all of us had put in effort to whip up a meal, we should be proud of ourselves, and that's what I think.

I will never forget these two years of Home Economics lessons at Bukit Panjang Government High School.
