Been Some Time

It has been 7 months since I last met up with Wai Hou and Yu Rong only. Met up just now, and it was a good night. Ate at Saveur, for the third or fourth time. Still lovin' it. Glad they liked it too. Ordered one caramel lava cake to share. Triple gay. Had a hearty chat over dinner, mostly about army, and coming to a consensus that we really can't sustain conversations with a certain company mate of ours. Suddenly very proud of my brother for being an auditor at KPMG. He may not have had any scholarships or gone to a prestigious university, but still managed to land himself in there. Went for Tom's Palette for ice-cream after that. Have not patronized it for 3 years already. Ordered one large cup with 2 flavors. One, nasty mix - caramel, peanut butter, and chocolate. Two, salted egg yolk. Nasty mix sounds sinful but the enjoyment was real. It was a harmonious concoction. Salted egg yolk was innovative and surprisingly good. We shared a cup, triple gay again. Wanted to go Ah Chew desserts after that, but changed plan and went to play pool. Our standards about the same, can learn and improve together. Played till 11 plus and it was time to go home. Cheap thrill being able to catch a bus home. The entire NS and EW lines got disrupted. Wonder if SMRT extended bus services because of this reason. But anyway, happy that I wasn't affected by the MRT in any way. Didn't take any photos, but it's ok. Someone taught me that photos don't mean everything (But for special occasions, I'd still like to photograph the moment, depends on with who though). And like what Yu Rong said, they can be very passive, but I need to understand that they are very steady, however. Haha, why do I keep finding myself needing to understand other people. Nevertheless, looking forward to spending more times with those two.
From time to time I get addicted to a certain song. Now it's "Funhouse" by P!nk. I feel that this song is under-appreciated. Not enough airplays perhaps.
