Back to Green

First ICT starts on Monday. Not looking forward to the activities or meeting the people. Maybe some? Jason completed his, two weeks ago. He didn't need to bring a lot of stuff, and had only one activity each day. Hence the day could "end" even before lunch. Well, it seems delightful at first, but then again, it can be damn boring. One week of pay also, better than staying at home. All I ask for, is that we won't be treated as recruits.
Took IPPT, and it was a disappointing Pass, albeit with incentive. Ran 13.05, my slowest timing ever. I naively thought that the 4 days of running around the canal helped. Or maybe it did, could have been 14 without the practice? Time to make running a habit rather than last minute training. Lamenting why I am weak in almost every single aspect. But shall not be long. Toughen up, woohoo~
Almost done with itinerary for Penang. Actually mostly about food. I don't really know what else to do there. Penang seems like a boring place apart from being rich in heritage and a food paradise. I read some Caucasian's blog post regarding the "disappointment" she had with Penang food. Her post reflected nothing of research/hearsay/plan to hunt for good eats. She and her companion just randomly roamed the streets and unluckily came across not so satisfying fare. Lol, blame themselves la. Her stand would have been more valid if the places she visited were lauded or media reported. August faster come. Though Penang only, it's better than nothing.
