Starstruck

'Perfect' is a rather amorphous term. To add on, there has been a saying that nobody is perfect. But if I should pick a man to define perfect, he would be Jet Li. In terms of looks, probably not that kind which will electrify any kind of girl at once, but still looking proper and amiable. I have not been one those passionate, hardcore fans following the updates of their idols closely. But recently, I knew more of the Korean group, Super Junior. I thought I have found a second person inside who I can consider to be perfect: Lee Donghae. Looks, character and talent, packaged within him, it's more than what anyone can ask for. As the lyrics of N'Sync's song go: "God must have spent a little more time on (him)".

Some people might be immediately turned off by newly formed bands and rising stars, thinking that they merely have the looks. In the case of SuJu, it may be thought that girls just go head over heels about them and fail to recognise what is "true music". After several observations, I feel that Donghae is not one of those who should be perceived as having the outward appearance only. Take one incident for instance. Before debut, his two fellow friends once told him that when he became famous, he would forget about them. Donghae was specially concerned about this sentence. When he was found crying, he flew into a rage and shouted, "I'm not going to change!" He also has his own compositions and his vocal and dance abilities should not be denied as well.

Like him, some stars are truly grateful for their success and current achievements. After all, without the support of fans, they would not have rose to fame and glory. In conclusion, I would like to say that there are some who really got the inner beauty and one should not judge by the facade.

Then, I reflect upon myself. Unavoidably, I feel some sense of inferiority >< I will often link my achievements to my academic results, and they show sucky grades. I frequently take comfort in the fact that I'm lazy, but then at the end of the day, people see the grade reflected on the certificate and not your excuses and explanations. Although I may not be as perfect as Jet Li and Donghae, the least I can do is to pull up my socks in academic and earn some admiration and praises, haha :O Got back Math paper 2 and it was so demoralising. It's like "How on earth can/did I make this mistake?" ...
