Mood: Manic Monday
Came across the song Manic Monday by The Bangles over the weekend and have been playing it on loop, apt to describe the return to drudgery and grind.
Started studying for CFA Level I on Saturday. Although the exam is in full MCQ format, the passing rate last year was a mere 43%, so I dare not be complacent. Also, I do not wish to waste money by having to re-take the exam. Hope I can maintain some sort of consistency. Two-thirds of Book 1 revolve around Mathematics. Those terms and concepts look fiercely familiar, yet off-putting at the same time because they rake up bad memories.
Got to know that there is a pop-up Ningxia Night Market in Sentosa through someone's vlog. Seems much less crowded, more seating area, and more spacious than the overhyped Shihlin in Kranji. Most importantly, vendors are the original ones from Taiwan. Pretty stoked; can't wait to visit!
