Hi 2015

First day of a new year. Hopefully the number of depressing posts will decrease. New year resolutions...actually do have some. Never type out maybe won't realize, but type out confirm won't realize. It's a curse. A summary of some things that happened in 2014: Barbeque at The Chevrons (awesome marshmallows and scrambled eggs taught by Yanping)//started on a mobile game and have spent at least S$50 on it to date//ORD-ed//21st Birthday - in particular, my bro got me a laptop (first ever present?) and Dad gave me a watch, which is unfortunately belittled but doesn't matter (if I happen to wear it in front of those people again, it doesn't mean that I'm asking them to take a good look at it, just that it will stop ticking if left untouched)//Worked at IRAS//Went for Agnes' birthday celebration, then Daniel's, then Yanping's, then Xueyun's, then Pengyam's, Eunice's//Meet-ups, especially with Jiamin, whom I've not seen since we graduated from primary school//Late night supper at Geylang x2//Went trampoline park//Jurong Lake Run - first ever run I signed up for//Matriculated - went for Night cycling and Zouk for the first time//2 major down times
Better days ahead!
I read Xiaxue's very entertaining rebuttal: http://xiaxue.blogspot.sg/2015/01/the-xiaxue-and-nuffnang-expose.html
"WAH DUA PEH GONG BO BI!!", for instance, almost made me "burst an artery laughing".
Well, what I can say is that she really knows her stuff and presents her arguments in a lucid, logical, coherent way. SMRT Feedback isn't totally wrong either; they just simply lift information, believing what their eyes see on the surface but didn't bother to delve deeper. (I read what SMRT Feedback wrote as well). They claimed on their Facebook page that they have a part 2 coming up, so I'm really curious what else can they say after Xiaxue's strong defense earlier this morning. I wonder those supporters of either side actually read what the other party has got to say. Xiaxue is a thinking individual and writes well, not an air-headed bimbo. I have respect for her regarding that.
Shall finish watching Sherlock before school starts, if it is captivating enough for me, that is. 9 episodes, shouldn't be a problem.
