Eclipse of the Heart

I'm not very good in consoling people. But in an attempt to, it will probably be better for me to type it down than to say them verbally because I have time to think and arrange my thoughts. Affairs of the heart are knotty problems. They can be hard to comprehend or even incomprehensible. They are bitter-sweet. I am not in a good position to pass any views on BGRs as I am not a guru. But I think friendships and BGRs have something in common. There is the intention to preserve, and to spend time with and enjoy the company of one another. There will always be down times, like the trials and tribulations in "Journey to the West". But the quest is to reach for the high times. While tests are unwelcome, they can actually bring people closer if they are meant to be. Anyway, we derive lessons from those tests that will help us become more understanding of matters around.
Two negatives give a positive, right? And the Chinese say, "tackle poison with poison". When you are crestfallen, maybe listening to some sad songs would be a cure. Even if it's a song that depicts breakup, perception is subjective. You can see that song as a salvation from drowning in your sorrows. Because when you rise to the surface, you can see things clearer. With that, more positivity may come into view. We have to be frank about some things. Talk it out, make things clear, leave no regrets. But be careful not to let emotions take over reasoning lest things spin out of control. Lastly, you need not let go, but you need not be so harsh on yourself either!
